More About US

When I made the career transition from nursing to real estate in 1985, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to combine my love of working with people with my passion for the pacific northwest. I was born in Oregon, and I moved to Seattle in 1967. I could never imagine living anywhere else.

Since 1985, I have been a broker with Windermere. As your Real Estate Agent, I will provide you with decades of real estate expertise and Seattle community knowledge. Through diligent work, skillful negotiations and a sense of humor, I will strive to help you find the perfect new home or sell your current home.

My clients have truly had a great impact on me. The relationships I have built over the years are extremely valuable to me, not only a professional level, but on a personal level. Whenever possible I try to let clients know how much they mean to me. My longtime sponsorship of the national champion women's ultimate frisbee team, Seattle Riot, is one example of this. Several clients of mine compete on Riot and it was a pleasure to help them on their road to nationals.

Although I am completely devoted to my real estate clients, I am equally passionate about giving back to the community. I have been very lucky in my life and I thoroughly enjoy helping others when I can. Whether I am volunteering as a nurse at a neighborhood clinic, supporting The Windermere Foundation or the Plymouth Housing Project, I strive to contribute to the community.

More About US

My career in real estate was inspired by my passion for public service. My first after-college job in Seattle as a paralegal on an Indian treaty case prompted me to pursue a legal career. In law school, I took every opportunity to help the most needy. After receiving my JD, I took a teaching fellowship in a program providing legal assistance to prison inmates. My role as an educator, advocate, and counselor was deeply gratifying and has continued to inform my 15+ years as a real estate broker, helping people make one of the most important moves of their lives.

For buyers, this means that I work tirelessly to help you find the home that meets your needs, no matter how long it takes. I share my extensive knowledge and honest opinions so you are able to make decisions that are fully informed. I coach and advocate for you, whether that involves putting together a winning offer in a multiple offer situation, or negotiating the best terms in a buyer’s market. Even first-time buyers end up feeling like experts because they have learned so much during our work together!

For sellers, I make savvy recommendations on how to prep your home for sale with the highest return on the investment, and I coordinate that work. I offer frank suggestions on how to price your property based on the latest market data. And I actively market the property, assertively negotiate with buyers, and shepherd the transaction through inspections and all the way to closing.

For all of my clients, I work hard because I care about them and want them to have the best experience possible. Because I care about our community, I donate a portion of each transaction to local nonprofits. And because I want to make an often-stressful process as enjoyable as I can, I bring a dry sense of humor, conversations about favorite local hikes and bakeries, and the occasional pet photo.
